Restart Orbi Mesh System
Sometimes after updating your system, the router and satellites don’t restart. Yes, after the update the device should reboot itself. But if it does not restart, then you can do it manually. There are two ways to restart the devices;
- Press the Power button on the Orbi router and satellites twice.
- Plug out and plug in the power cord of the router and satellites once.
Update Firmware Again
It can happen that you initiate the update but if the internet cut out and the update stops. If this happens, then you should update the Orbi device again that you can do from the Orbi login interface or Orbi app.
- To reach the GUI interface, you must use the computer and search the orbilogin.net or IP address 192.168.1.1.
- To download the Orbi app, open Play Store or App Store, just search and tap on the Install button.
Check Cables Are Connected or Not
The cables like LAN cable can be connected to the wrong ports in modem or router or satellites. Orbi pink light also shows this status to indicate cable is damaged or Orbi not working.
So check all the router to modem connection cable. The correct pattern for link is Orbi router WAN port and modem LAN port.
Make Sure Cables Are Not Damaged
The cables connected to the router and satellites must be in good condition. If power cord is not working fine then the devices never get the power supply and if the Ethernet cable is not working then signals will never transfer.

Reset Your Orbi Mesh
The last option is resetting the device, if any other solutions are not working. Reset process will clear out all the data and settings in the router as well as satellites. To reset;
- Find RESET button on the Orbi.
- Press and hold it for 7-10 seconds.
- The reset process will start and ends in some minutes.
After that, you have to re-configure the Orbi mesh system,
- Connect computer to Orbi network.
- Search URL orbilogin.net or IP 192.168.1.1 in browser.
- Reach to the interface login page.
- Enter the default login credentials and click on Login.
- You will get access to the interface where you can configure Orbi again.
