  6. Download the Nighthawk app from the app store or the play store.
  7. Open the Nighthawk app on the device which is connected to the router.
  8. Follow the instructions on the screen and connect your router to the internet.

Now, let’s do the Nighthawk login by the web browser.

  1. Connect your computer to one of the Ethernet port on your router.
  2. Press the power button on your router and wait for few sec for the power LED to turn on.
  3. Open a web browser and enter routerlogin.com. Click on enter, this will lead you to the main interface.
  4. Login to the router by entering the user name which would be admin and the password, which would be password by default.

Firmware Update of Nighthawk Router

 After the Netgear Nighthawk login, this one of the main thing to do. Follow the steps to easily do the firmware update.

  1. Connect your computer to the router with the help of an Ethernet cable.
  2. Open your web browser, in the search bar type routerlogin.net. Click on enter the main interface appears on the screen.
  3. Enter the router’s username and the password. The username, by default would be admin and the password would password by default. Press Enter. The main interface appears.
  4. On the router setting go down and look for check for updates and click on it.
  5. If there is a new firmware update, click on update.
  6. Wait till the update is complete.

After you tap on update do not switch apps on your phone, or open another site on the computer. It can stop the update. To complete the firmware update it might take few minutes. So do not turn off the router or the modem. Check the new updates carefully and enjoy their benefits.
